My Way in America is an informational, educational, organizational and AI-assisted guidance service for adults building their lives in the United States.

2. You must be 18 or older

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of agreeing to these Terms to create an account or use the service. This service is not intended for children.

3. What Alex is — and is not

Alex is an AI-assisted personal guide. Alex can help you understand information, organize information, prepare questions for a professional, draft communications based on facts you provide, and locate resources.

Alex is not a substitute for professional advice where professional advice is required. Do not rely solely on Alex for emergencies or for high-stakes professional decisions. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.

4. Information may be incomplete or out of date

Information provided through the service, including AI-generated answers, job listings and external resources, may sometimes be incomplete, outdated, unavailable or incorrect.

You are responsible for verifying important information with authoritative sources — such as official government websites, schools, employers or licensed professionals — before you act on it.

Job listings and external resources are controlled by third parties and may change, expire or be removed at any time.

5. No guaranteed outcomes

My Way in America does not guarantee any specific result, including:

• employment, interviews or job offers
• admission to any school, college or program
• any immigration status, benefit, approval or immigration outcome
• professional licenses or government approvals
• housing or rental approval
• loans, credit, financing or a home purchase
• business success
• medical outcomes
• financial outcomes
• any other specific result

6. We are not a licensed professional service

My Way in America is not a law firm, medical provider, accounting firm, financial adviser, immigration representative, government agency, employment agency, school, real-estate brokerage or lender, and does not provide legal, medical, tax, financial or immigration advice.

When a licensed professional is appropriate, we will say so and help you look for one.

7. Your responsibilities and acceptable use

You confirm you have the right to provide the information you share, and that it is not unlawful or infringing.

The My Way in America software, brand, design and original content are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your own personal use.

The service may link to websites and services operated by third parties. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability, pricing or practices. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.

12. Subscription and payment

Paid membership is a recurring subscription. Current pricing and billing frequency are shown on our pricing page at checkout before you pay; we do not restate prices here.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

13. Service availability

We work to keep the service running well, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, always available or error-free. Features may change over time.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.

15. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost data or lost opportunities arising from your use of the service.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any right you have that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including mandatory consumer rights.

16. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end access to the service for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious misuse. You may stop using the service and close your account at any time.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the updated Terms.

18. Governing law

To the extent legally permitted, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, and applicable United States federal law.

Nothing in this section removes mandatory consumer protections or other rights that cannot legally be waived under the law that applies to you.
